YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Cloudwood Entertainment handles information when you browse the platform, create an artist account, sign in with Google, or publish music, reels and videos.

1. Information we collect

When you register with email, we collect your email address, artist or stage name, password, and selected entertainment disciplines. You may also provide your city and biography. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, not readable passwords.

When you upload work, we store the media file, optional cover image, title, description, discipline, media type, file size, duration information, account association and upload time.

The hosting server may record technical information such as IP addresses, request details and error logs. The application uses a hashed combination of an IP address and action type for temporary abuse-prevention counters.

2. Google sign-in

If you choose “Continue with Google,” Google provides a unique account identifier, verified email address and basic profile information such as your name. We use these to create or authenticate your Cloudwood account. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, contacts or Google Drive files.

Google access tokens used to complete sign-in are not retained in our account database. Google handles its own sign-in and consent screens under the Google Privacy Policy. Removing Cloudwood’s access from your Google account does not automatically delete the artist profile or media already stored on Cloudwood.

3. What is public

Your artist name, city if provided, biography, selected disciplines and published uploads are visible to visitors. Uploads publish immediately and may be played by anyone with access to the platform. Your email address, password hash and Google account identifier are not included in the public artist directory.

Only share information and media you want to make public. Visitors may copy or record public content, and removal from Cloudwood cannot remove copies others have already made.

4. How information is used

We use information to operate accounts, display artist profiles, host and play media, support search and discovery, maintain sessions, apply storage limits, prevent abuse and investigate technical problems. The current application does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics.

5. Hosting and external services

Our hosting provider processes stored files, database records and technical traffic needed to provide the service. The intended deployment uses BigRock Linux hosting; the site owner must confirm the actual provider and hosting location at launch.

The site may load fonts from Google Fonts. Sample video playback connects to W3C’s media host. These services receive the network information necessary to respond, such as your IP address and browser details. External links take you to services with their own policies. Artist uploads are stored on the configured server.

Information may be disclosed when needed to comply with applicable legal obligations or to investigate abuse and protect users and the service. We do not sell personal information through the features provided by this application.

6. Cookies and browser storage

Cloudwood uses an essential session cookie to keep you signed in and protect account actions against forged requests. On the production HTTPS site, this cookie is marked Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite. Blocking essential cookies prevents sign-in and uploads from working. The application does not use marketing cookies or store your password in browser storage.

7. Retention and deletion

Account and profile information remains in the database until removed by the operator. Uploaded files remain until you delete them from your artist studio or the operator removes them. Deleting an upload removes its active database entry and media files; copies may remain temporarily in browser caches, server backups or external copies. Backup and server-log retention depend on the hosting configuration and must be documented by the operator.

Temporary abuse-prevention counters expire and are periodically cleared as the application handles requests. Session access expires after inactivity or when you sign out, subject to the hosting server’s session cleanup.

8. Your choices and requests

You can update your artist name, city, biography and disciplines in the artist studio. You can remove your own uploads there. To request account deletion, access to your information, correction of details you cannot edit, or to raise a privacy concern, use the privacy contact below. We may need to verify that you control the account before acting on a request. Rights and exceptions depend on the law applicable to you and the operator.

9. Security

The application includes password hashing, access checks, session protections, file validation and per-account upload limits. The operator is responsible for HTTPS, server security, updates, access permissions and backups. No storage or transmission system can guarantee complete security.

10. Age requirement

This version of Cloudwood is intended for people aged 18 or older. Do not register if you are under 18. If an account appears to belong to someone below this age, contact the operator so it can be reviewed.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies this version. Material changes should be communicated through the service or an appropriate account contact before they take effect where required.

Privacy contact: To be supplied by the site owner before public launch.

Operator: Cloudwood Entertainment. Legal entity name, address and applicable jurisdiction must be confirmed by the site owner.
